Few pictures from an unofficial J’Ouvert and first hours of Notting Hill Carnival 2024

I had the pleasure of visiting Appleby Horse Fair, a traditional Gypsy and Traveller gathering in the north of England, for the first time this year. I knew from pictures I’d seen that it would be spectacular, but the whole experience far surpassed my expectations. I only had two nights and one day and probably missed a whole lot of stunning pictures, but here’s a glimpse of the action. I will certainly return next year.
